By booking and using Blue Sky Filtration services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us before your service date.
Booking & Site Access
-
1
Please ensure staff on duty are aware of your booking. If our team arrives at your premises at the agreed time and find it closed or are turned away, you will be charged a call-out fee of $450.00.
-
2
Burners and pilot lights should be turned off at an appropriate time before the arrival of our team. We advise a minimum of 2 hours. If surfaces are deemed too hot for our team to work on, you will be charged a minimum call-out fee of $450.00.
-
3
If the canopies are fitted with automatic fire suppressors, it is the client's responsibility to arrange that they are isolated before our arrival.
-
4
All costs incurred by Blue Sky Filtration for site inductions will be charged back to you (the customer).
Site Preparation & Grease Fallout
-
5
Clear the cooktop and benches and cover anything that cannot be removed. Whilst every effort will be made to protect kitchen surfaces using drop sheets, it is not uncommon for grease to come into contact with some surfaces. Please keep in mind that our staff are removing months or years of built-up grease and oil — some grease "fallout" may occur.
-
6
Where severe blackening has occurred in or on your canopy or duct, we will endeavour to achieve a bare metal finish. However, in some cases this may not be possible due to the age of the system or the level of blackening.
-
7
Duct riser anchor points are strictly the customer's responsibility. Blue Sky Filtration will not commence work unless a certificate is produced after all appropriate testing of anchor points has been carried out.
-
8
If any mechanical or electrical problems exist in your system, Blue Sky Filtration are not qualified to make repairs. Any observed issues will be reported to you (the customer).
Compliance & Certification
-
9
A certificate of compliance cannot be issued until a full kitchen exhaust system clean is completed — including canopy, ductwork (internal and external) and fans.
-
10
This quotation is based on the initial inspection and service. Any further work required to make the system compliant will be quoted separately as a variation. A certificate of compliance will not be issued until Blue Sky Filtration is satisfied that a compliant standard has been reached.
-
11
Filter exchange is only included as part of a full system or canopy clean when specifically requested by the client — it is charged separately.
Complaints
-
12
Complaints must be reported
within 3 days from the date of service via email at
sales@blueskyfiltration.com.au, preferably accompanied by photos. No responsibility will be accepted by Blue Sky Filtration after this period.
Payment Terms
-
13
Blue Sky Filtration payment terms are strictly 30 days EOM. If your account is not paid promptly, it will be placed with a debt collection agency and all associated costs will be charged to you (the customer).
-
14
All first-time clients are required to submit a 50% upfront payment prior to the commencement of work.
-
15
Quoted prices will remain valid for one year from the date of issue, after which they are subject to increase without notice.
